Vassilis C. Samaras was born in Larissa, Greece, in 1956. He studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (M.Eng., 1979). He earned an M.A.Sc. also at the N.T.U.A. in the field of Environment and Development (M.A.Sc., 2005) and studied Fluid Mechanics, especially in the field of Multiphase Flows, at the University of Patras from 1998 till 2005, earning his Ph.D (Ph.D., 2006). He continues as a Post Doctorate researcher in the field of Multiphase Flows. He has an 18 years experience of working in several plants in Greece, keeping the position of Technical Manager, Production Manager, Commercial Manager and Plant Manager. He has also a 14 years experience in teaching at secondary level schools (4 years as Second Chance School Director) and at University Departments at the University of Patras. He wrote 3 books and over 35 papers for journals and International Conferences. Research interests:Multi-phase flow in pipes, gas-liquid-solid flow patterns in air-lift pumps, sociology of education, science and technology teaching, pedagogic technology.Current projects: Flow pattern transition, stability of slug flow, hydrodynamic of slug flow, flow of gas-liquid-solid mixtures, transient phenomena in two phase flow in pipes, air-lift pumps experiments, environment and development, teaching in life long learning projects and distance learning projects. Dr. Samaras is a member of many professional societies, among these: Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG),Hellenic Society of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (ΠΣΔΜΗ-HSMEE).
Sevi Iosifidou holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens. She is currently an M.A. student at the University of Peolponnese studying "Educational Programmes and Material".
She has participated in various conventions and seminars attending Language Teaching Methodology presentations. She has been teaching English as a Foreign Language for five years at the private sector.
She is also serving the Board of Directors of TESOL Greece for the second consecutive year as an alternate member.
When she's not involved in her professional or academic duties, she loves having the time of her life while travelling to places around Greece or abroad, socializing with friends, or watching a good movie.
Αγγελική Σ. Σμυρνή , γεννήθηκε το 1987 στην Αθήνα και μεγάλωσε στο Ξυλόκαστρο Κορινθίας, όπου και κατοικεί. Αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Φιλοσοφίας- Παιδαγωγικής και Ψυχολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι φοιτήτρια στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου με κατεύθυνση "εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, τυπική- άτυπη και από απόσταση εκπαίδευση".
Έχει παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια που αφορούν την παιδαγωγική και την ψυχολογία καθώς και προγράμματα Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων.
Εργάζεται στον ιδιωτικό τομέα και την ενδιαφέρει να ασχοληθεί με την εκπαιδευτική έρευνα.
Στον ελεύθερό της χρόνο της αρέσει να διαβάζει βιβλία, να ζωγραφίζει και να ταξιδεύει γνωρίζοντας τον κόσμο.
Αθανασία Χ. Ζώση, γεννήθηκε το 1988 στην Αθήνα και μεγάλωσε στη Νεμέα Κορινθίας. Αποφοίτησε το 2010 από το Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης( Ρέθυμνο). Παρακολουθεί ως μεταπτυχιακή φοιτήτρια στο πανεπιστήμιο Πελοποννήσου, την κατεύθυνση " Εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα-Τυπική -Άτυπη και Από Απόσταση Εκπαίδευση. Εργάζεται στο δημόσιο τομέα ως αναπληρώτρια δασκάλα.
